A lot of my work around reading and studying incorporated performance aspects - infact can be understood as performances though no informed public was invited. the bicycle works continued this trajectory - street performances which were not intended for an informed public. But already in 1993 I declared my studying and reading in Tokyo (Person's Weekend Museum) as performances.
Only over the last year I engaged more directly with direct format of performance - with an informed public present and a clear start and a clear end.
