EL MUNDO - A CLASSICAL MUSIC CONCERT AT EL MUNDO, FORMER EAGLE THEATER, SPANISH HARLEM, NYC
the actual concert held in January 23, 2013, the coldest day of the year so far with the support of Matthew Higgs from White Columns, New York and Haunted Houses Projects, Spanish Harlem, New York.
Thanks the everybody who came and the current and former Juilliard muscians, Rachel Koblyakov, Siyi, jeff, Ok-Cha Lim, and Ken Okiiishi. Thanks also to El Mundo . All Brands, a discount retailer to be evicted the following week of the concert. Their lease went up by several times.

at Kai Matsumiya's space.. a new element comes to play out. The space is located at 153 Stanton Street, in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. About the time, The former Eagle Theater was built.. turn of the last century - the lower east side was populated by the same people as East Harlem, which was connected to the Elevated train line on 3rd Avenue.
Now, we move now the event again to the Lower East side into a show that was previsoulsy rented by people who sold Wu-Tang accessories called Rocksmith or so. For the opening exhibiton of Kai Matsumiya's first space I decided to leave everything as we found it.- including the dirt and the trash lying around in the gallery... (ceramic toilet tops, boxes.....parts of wall installations... cleaning utensiles etc..and a Wu-Tang logo on the wall..-) and use their lightening. This is ment to have some kind of continuity to the El Mundo shop in East Harlem, where the film was shut.

WuTang Logo was in place.... as well as the lightening installation .. I opt for no clean up and restoration in order to create a continuity with the El Mundo Theater /Shop space of the concert.
