The book "The third police man" by Flann O'Brian is a metaphysical travel on a bicycle through a post-modern murder case with life, memory and houses lost and regained addressing some existentialist questions. For this video, I bicycle in circles in an emptry wonderful lower Manhattan penthouse loft with my girlfriend Romana Rozsypalova reading selected excerpts from the last chapter of this O'Brian's book sitting on the handle bar. In this chapter 12 the author somehow eroticizes the bicycle as the last thing the protagonist seemed to hold on after having lost everything, including his life. As the reader will see, even this bicycle was stolen, gone. And so was his life all along.
